NERO FIRST LOOK
I've just spent the morning looking up about these guys, UK-based electro and dubstep duo Nero. They've been around since '04 and signed with MTA just last year, with three EPs released thus far. And it looks like 2011 is going to be their year. Having just performed their first live set at the Big Weekend, they've already got Glastonbury, Wireless and a date at the iTunes Festival all lined up this summer. To add to that, they've been confirmed to support none other than Tinie Tempah during his autumn arena tour. And lastly, my top anticipation lies with their unique collab with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra as they perform their self-composed 'dubstep symphony' on Monday. Sounds amazing, right? You can catch that live on Radio 1.
This is an official clip by Nero for their upcoming new single "Promises", taken from its first air on Radio 1. The beat sounds incredible as well as genius vocals by Sub Focus, and I can't wait to get my hands on the official release at high quality - it's a real tune man. Their debut album comes out in August and it's tipped to be massive.
