SIGUR RÓS INNI

Icelandic post-rock group Sigur Rós have been on hiatus for the best part of two years, but they're back with their newest album released worldwide yesterday. It's not the anticipated next original LP, but it's their first album of live recordings taken from two London performances of their last tour back in 2008. Showcasing one and three quarter hours of pure magic by solely the original four-piece band, this album is a real treat to listen to, filled with truly sensational sound. Inni also includes a film of the show, directed by Vincent Morisset, which was screened just this week at both the BFI and Rough Trades, which I wish I had gone to see. But I know for sure that it too is a phenomenal experience.
