MAROON 5 FEATURING CHRISTINA AGUILERA

Maroon 5 have dropped this colourful lyrics video for their huge collaboration number with Christina Aguilera. It'll be performed live for the first time tonight on US show The Voice, on which Adam Levine and Aguilera have been working together for a while now. The tune's fast and sexy with hints of an 80s dance song, and it's pretty catchy. I reckon I could quite like it.

The "Moves Like Jagger" single will be released next week, coincidently just before Cher Lloyd's debut song "Swagger Jagger" hits the shelves. We'll see which will have more of the jagger.. whatever that means.

MAROON 5 NEW MATERIAL

Songs About Jane (2002) is one of my favourite albums I've ever purchased and Maroon 5 have their 3rd album now lined up for release on 21st September. The album's artwork is pictured above which was unveiled yesterday - took me a few moments to understand what was going on but it's certainly got impact and it looks pretty cool.

Their first single "Misery" taken from this forthcoming album has been out for a week or two now and I'm in the midst of deciding whether I like it. It certainly doesn't compare to their debut material from 8 years ago, but of course artists need to progress and move forward, which I fully appreciate. I think I'm gonna say I like it though. Hopefully a couple more listens will do it.

Anyways, the video was premiered yesterday and it's rather kinky and comical - something that was probably more fun to shoot than watch. But check it out. Oh and what a bitch that woman is.
