VICTATE WINTER '11 FLASH SALE

Back in December, British brand Victate brought us their winter collection, featuring some of the finest garments around, whilst expanding their range and growing as a line too. They've been hinting at it for a couple of weeks, but today their flash sale "Five Days of Fun" was announced to commence next week. Every piece, from the Mainline t-shirts to the Private Stock oxfords, will have a day of slashed prices, and it's a proper impressive slash too. As a close friend and loyal customer, even their original pricing reflects completely the effort, quality and care that is put into each item, so the sale is a bargain you just cannot miss. The intricate graphic tees and sweats, tailor-made oxford shirts and leather monogram card wallet will all be there, so be sure to check it out at victate.co.uk.

VICTATE WINTER '11

It's been a quiet few months for London's very own quality clothing brand Victate, but the team have been hard at work, that's for sure. They celebrate their two year anniversary with a bang, all set with their tailor-made garments, extending the line from what started back in late 2009 with t-shirts and hoodies. The drive and passion lives on, but their philosophy has matured beautifully (and at some speed too!) with quality and craftsmanship always on the up also.

The Winter '11 range features some exciting new ventures, but continues clear development of Victate's logo and the floral elements that were so successful in Summer. With a lovely new monogram pattern, young London-based artists to work with and a master craftsman on their side, the collection beams with excellence they might as well have made a tee with the word quality written across it. Aside from the Anniversary graphic and the re-released Certificate, one illustration stands out amongst others for me. It's a hand-drawn autumn floral that is superb, one I was lucky enough to have got printed as a bespoke sweatshirt. The detail is extraordinary and together with the comfortable cotton fleece crew neck, it makes for an amazing piece of winterwear.

I could write a fucking book on each item to be honest, so it's best to just check them out yourself. Winter '11 is completed with a monogram hood, embroidered sweater, oxford shirts and a leather cardholder. I got to see the collection first hand at their pre-release event yesterday, held at Robot Bunny in Whiteleys, and it just screams hard work, (occasionally obsessive) attention to detail and the finest quality. It's certainly the most impressive drop the brand has produced since its inception. It's set for launch on their online store at midnight today. I urge you to support and I'm already looking forward to what 2012 holds for Edd and the gang.

VICTATE SUMMER '11 IN STORE DEBUT

I've been writing much about Victate these days, introducing the brand and their seasonal drops - today being the launch date for the summer line. What's more, today also marks a new height of progress, as they've booked a spot in concept store Robot Bunny's pop-up shop in London's Brent Cross complex. That is, Victate's clothing line is now available to purchase in store for the very first time!

You can find out more about it on their website, and the store is definitely worth visiting to see the detail and quality first hand. It just represents the incredible work and dedication that goes in to creating these undeniably super products, and this opportunity marks a real milestone for the growing brand. Their Summer '11 range takes a change in direction, aiming for a more sophisticated and premium look, working with young British artists and staying true to their heritage. It really is a brilliant brand, a brilliant story in the making and their growth and success is so enjoyable to see. Finally as a friend, Edd truly amazes me, and I feel so happy for his deserved fortunes. I sincerely cannot wait to witness his inspiring journey continue to unfold.

The message is clear. Excited.

VICTATE SPRING/SUMMER '11

The time has come for me to introduce the next range from Victate, as they gear up to release their Spring/Summer lines. Seems like the brand is adding a new element of sophistication with this upcoming drop, which is something to be super excited about. For a start, they've upgraded the t-shirt quality for a thicker, heavier product.

The tees are always meticulously designed, pen to paper to Mac to print, stroke by stroke, and the Nature patterns don't disappoint with Crocodile and Feather patterns unveiled thus far, the details of which are stunning. They come in simple black and white once again, which worked so well for them last season. I've also been told they've got shirts and bags lined up too! Brand is growing up so fast man, and it just continues to impress and surprise me.

Now, the most significant pieces for SS11, for me, is the floral pocket tee. It'll be released as part of their limited Private Stock range, which is only bad news for those who miss out, because it's a bomb of a tee! Personally, I feel like this embodies the company's progress and smart change of direction. The pockets are hand-crafted using top-of-the-range Liberty prints (which many big names have opted to use this season!) coming in two spring colourways. Massive love for this.

I think the drop comes out next month so don't miss it!

VICTATE AW10/11 DROP 3

And here is the 3rd and final Drop from Victate's Autumn/Winter Collection. Three elegant pieces. You wouldn't believe the work and effort put in by Edward Li, the brains of the brand, and he must be delighted that it's finally landed. And I have to say, it's brilliant. The King of Hearts tee completes the little set of playing card designs, accompanied also by two quality sweats, each kept simple and true with the added finish of their (what's starting to become) iconic elbow patches. The video lookbook below shows it all off.

It's another fine collection, which wraps up the wintery season, at least for this year anyway. Onto Spring '11 and I hear they have some wonderful ideas blossoming in their ever-creative minds. To the guys at Victate, I wish you all the best. And to the guys reading my words, go buy some new wear. I've been told all stock is now 25% off. Go!

VICTATE AW10 DROP 2 PREVIEW

Here is a preview for the tees that are set to arrive in January by upcoming streetwear label Victate, as part of Drop 2 for the Autumn/Winter 10 collection. I posted their 1st drop earlier in the season and I thought those were super cool. And this certainly doesn't disappoint. Following the Jack of Hearts comes the Queen, and one can only assume that the King will feature in the final drop, which I will most definitely write about as it comes.

It's another strong series of graphics, each precisely made with love and care, and I cannot wait for it to arrive in the new year - which, by the way, I know will be a massive year for them. In the meantime, you can get shopping over on their homepage where you will find free shipping for Christmas. Support and enjoy. I've already ordered mine!

VICTATE 1ST ANNIVERSARY

How fuckin sexy are these! The brand's called Victate and they've just unveiled the designs for their Autumn 2010 drop. Originating from the concept of "victorious dictation", a very close friend of mine, Mr Edd Li, started this label just a year ago, and my oh my has it come a long way. They focus a lot on the themes of ambition and success, which is just so fitting for him and his company, and it's been amazing to watch Victate grow in such a short time.

The releases this time round therefore celebrate its very first anniversary, and is actually one of three drops this season. They've been working super hard, trust me, and the efforts are so clearly reflected in the products; the quality is outstanding. I love purchasing things that have been made with care, with passion and with meaning. Victate has it all and I reckon I'm gonna be getting my hands on much of their shit this Fall.

I can't express how much respect my guy deserves, he's doing so well. I know this is just the first of many anniversaries to come. I urge you all to check it out, follow and support. It's fucking awesome.
