ADIDAS ORIGINALS COURT DECK VULC MID

These are the new Court Deck sneakers by adidas Originals for Summer '12. A light court mid with boat shoe influences, it brings a refreshing feel to the standard shoe. It comes in three colourways, but each uses varying materials, thus producing completely different takes of the same silhouette. There's the pinstriped canvas with brown leather stripes, which is perhaps the most summertime-friendly, then a clean white and black model, as well as an all-leather upper version with embossed detailing. An interesting collection of three bold stand-alone summer footwear, available to purchase now.

RANSOM x ADIDAS ORIGINALS ALAN CREPE S/S '12

Kitted with a quality leather upper and soft crepe sole, this is the new Alan Crepe sneaker from one of my favourite collaborations, Ransom by adidas Originals. Part of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, the Alan Crepes take a simple summer silhouette with near to no branding, emphasising the iconic Crepe sole and its wooden welt, which works so well against the clean leather body. It comes in two colourways, black and my preferred choice of tan. The perfect shoe to finish that summer look with elegance and no noise.

ADIDAS ADIZERO F50 MESSI

The unrivalled world's best footballer to grace the pitch with the generation's most incredible feet, Lionel Messi was awarded his third successive Ballon D'Or award this week. To mark the special achievement, his main sponsor adidas and their fitting three stripes have created these custom adizero F50s for him to wear for the second half of the season. Coming in a clean white and gold colourway, this just goes to show how bad all the vibrantly coloured mainstream lines are in comparison. I just don't understand the current trend in football boots with candy purple, flash green and blinding orange, they're just silly. But this Messi model is very pretty and it features the award-winning years, a message of gratitude, the Argentinian flag, and also Leo's new personal logo, following the likes of Tiger Woods and Roger Federer. It's a brilliant pair of boots, available to all through miCoach.

In related news, do you know who won the women's award? Japanese national captain Homare Sawa, who had a truly dazzling year, leading the nation to its first every World Cup accompanied with the top FIFA world ranking. The equivalent coach's award was given to the Japanese coach, Sasaki, who managed them to this superb feat. Amazing news.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS x RANSOM ARMY TR F/W '11

Adding to the Fall/Winter '11 collection, the adidas x Ransom collaboration line releases these simple and rugged high-tops, the Army TR. Available in two neutral colourways and uppers made of suede or canvas, they feature a broad side ribbon, distinguished toecap and matching eyelets and laces. There are also two low-top options too, but these mids are much better balanced, making for a top choice item of casual winter footwear. The relationship between the designers has grown stronger over the seasons and their products too have been more and more impressive, as it appears this is a collaboration with much more to give in the future. I'm sure there'll be Spring news coming soon.

ADIDAS SKATEBOARDING JONBEE

adidas Skateboarding have this week unveiled their skate shoe, Jonbee. Arriving next year in four subtle colourways, the new model takes clear inspiration from the shapes of the prominent range by Nike SB, taking the structure perhaps of the Paul Rodriguez or Stefan Janoski silhouettes. The sneakers are fit for the skaters but also hold the aesthetics and comfort for stylish urban footwear. But adidas have added a twist, and a cool one at that, merging the typical skate shoe with features of the timeless boat shoe which works very well. Look out for their drop early 2012.

OBYO JAMES BOND FOR DAVID BECKHAM SS12

adidas Originals' hit collaboration line with David Beckham and Undefeated's James Bond continue to keep strong, and we may only have just tasted the beginning of winter, but they've already released this preview lookbook for their Spring/Summer 2012 drop. It showcases glimpses of the gear for the sophisticated sportsman's sunshine look, featuring the now expected elegance and quality craft. I like how the jacket and crew neck sweat are looking. Watch out for further information and details soon, because clearly it's ready to go.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS MADE FOR TOKYO SUPERSTAR 80

To celebrate 10 years for adidas Originals' store in Tokyo, Japan, the Made For Tokyo collection has been unveiled, a limited pack consisting of the pictured Superstar 80s and a matching jacket. The shoe embraces Tokyo's love for combinations, and often clashes, of patterns and materials. These Superstars are made of a leather upper and a rubber shell toe as well as suede, fabric and other synthetic materials in the lining and trim details. Coming in a tonal black colourway, it's a sleek, bold silhouette with sweet highlights in its laces and heel branding. It's a very strong pair of sneakers but it's exclusive to just 150, each individually numbered, making it a must-have rare item for sure.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS x RANSOM VALLEY FDT

The Fall/Winter 2011 collection by adidas Originals x RANSOM sees the Valley sneaker return in full suede upper to give a basic and timeless silhouette for what has become a popular model in their past footwear ranges. Featuring bronze metal eyelets and little branding, the Valley looks to be a decent minimalist piece for the current season, available now in red and grey.

DAVID BECKHAM x HYPEBEAST CONCLUSION

As the three-part interview completes, football superstar and fashion icon David Beckham has revealed to Hypebeast his most important items, his essentials. The Goyard card holder is cool, the Jaguar is cool, his adidas ObyO selection is cool. But I'm left slightly sour looking at his duo of Samsung gadgets, cool but could be cooler, in the form of a bitten apple.

Looking at his chosen apparel from his collaboration range with Undefeated, the Fleece Crew Sweater is an excellent simple crew neck in a lush tone of blue, made with premium fleece jersey cotton. It's complemented finely by the leather Doley Lux sneakers which has suede toe and heel pieces, and finished with subtle perforated branding. A great choice of essentials.

In conclusion, I want to be David Beckham.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS JAPAN STADIUM JACKET

For their Fall/Winter 2011 collection, Japan's adidas Originals have developed these varsity jackets made from wool (90%) and nylon. I love the blue colour, beautifully rich yet elegant, but the choice of detail isn't quite to my liking. I generally prefer a clean look and the chest is anything but. Two fat logos and two zipper pockets certainly add some clutter I think. The branding continues on the back too with a massive "Originals" embroidery and there's just a bit too much going on for me. Shape's good though, with a nice simple collar. It comes out next month.

ADIDAS CHELSEA FC THIRD KIT 2011/12

Unveiled one week ago, this is the new third kit for Chelsea's new season by adidas, which completes the wardrobe of outfits for the 2011/12 campaign. Featuring TechFit™for optimum playing enhancement and comfort, this new kit comes predominantly in white with some neat colour blocking of navy blue and yellow on the chest, and I do really like it. I actually think that Chelsea this year have a very strong series of match kits, with the retro-inspired hooped blue home shirt as well as the modern take of the away kit which has those sharp turquoise squares. Just got to decide which one to buy now. Shame they're only valid for one season nowadays.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS BLUE CHORD FW11

The Blue Collection debuted earlier this year and the Chord model returns for the upcoming Fall/Winter season. I like the shape of the shoe, a simple plimsole silhouette with classic tennis style influences, as well as the minimalistic branding - I think it all makes for a pretty good casual sneaker. It's made with a soft leather upper and nubuck trim, the inner maroon lining is wicked too. A very cool, simple piece of footwear.

ADIDAS x RANSOM SS11

adidas Originals return with their collaboration with Ransom for the Spring/Summer season and this is the first teaser promo vid for the upcoming sneaker range. I really like the Valley Lows in this release, smartly finished.

Not sure if surfing is the most suitable image to advertise shoes but anyways here it is.

ADIDAS SLVR FALL/WINTER 10

This, for me, is one of the most striking looks I have seen for this season. adidas SLVR have brought a pretty bold, sleek range which I'm actually quite impressed by. Looks a bit like the adidas Originals x Star Wars collab except with more suitable casual colours. The yellow pair is raw.

CHELSEA AWAY 2010/11

Chelsea have unveiled the new away kit for the 2010/11 season and you know, I really like it. The orange highlights seem to me like a strong symbol of fire, heat and passion. It's strong. The team will sport it for the first time on August 4th against Hamburg, before its release on the 5th. It is however available to preorder as of today over at the Megastore. Go!

And for those of you that are not yet aware, I am a True Blue. You can expect some related posts and articles soon, especially once the Premier League season kicks off. For all you football fanatic readers, I am also preparing a fun activity for us all too so stay tuned!

ADIDAS ORIGINALS BRING MEGA

So adidas have been creating a lot of hype for something 'mega' and after all the build up, it is finally here - the MEGA collection. It's part of the Originals range but it looks to me like a new set of running shoes, but then I also saw some high tops so I'm not quite sure what it's really about but we'll see.

Having seen some images of the brand new line, which will be released in time for Fall/Winter 2010, they do look pretty cool though. What they've done is take the groundbreaking technology and improve them, modernise them, enlarge them. And the designs are strong, vivid and rather impressive. I like them. I'm not gonna go into the details of the technologies because I have no idea what it all means, but basically there's this massive Torsion bar which is apparently life-changing.

This MEGA range isn't quite what I was expecting but it looks like another solid product line, a unique concept from adidas. What do you guys think?

PREMIUM GAZELLE VINTAGE MIDS

I posted these shoes when they first came out I think for the spring collection or something. They're the Gazelle Vintage Mid DBs, part of my beloved ObyO David Beckham designed by James Bond collection by adidas Originals.

After a successful release with colourways in red, blue, and my favourite white, these Fall/Winter versions come in solid premium leather, and together with the all white outer sole, it is a thing of class and beauty. The quality is top notch and it is oh so aesthetically pleasing. I heart it.

OBYO BOND FOR BECKHAM FW10

adidas Originals ObyO James Bond for David Beckham is a collaboration I've been tracking since its launch back in October last year and I just love what they produce. David Beckham is a massive idol personally, and the collaboration with UNDFTD's James Bond is so sleek and current.

This is a preview of what's to come in the Fall/Winter collection 2010. These are a pair of full leather sneakers with a two tone scheme of black and tan brown. Just so elegant, simple and beautiful. We'll have to see how pricing goes but if it follows some of the previous footwear from this collection, I would expect it to be between £110 to £135. Pricey perhaps but so gorgeous. They will hit the Originals stores in July.
