After much anticipation, well from me anyways, it's finally here! Actually, you probably don't know who he is.. BLAISE PLANT is one of the Canadian brothers in MONKEY MAJIK (check the sidebar) and he started his solo project in March 2008 called THE ALPHABET PROJECT. He's released 10 singles to date, the most recent being METRO-POLICE, and they are written using English, Japanese and French. Cool mix.
Anywho, he has today revealed that his first album PAINTING MUSIC will contain 17 tracks all together, including retouched versions of the singles already released, and the CD is to be limited to just 3000 copies. They go on sale exclusively to fans attending the MONKEY MAJIK TOUR 2010 in Japan which begins 6th February.. damn. So I guess I will not be getting my hands on them. Cry.
But if any of you faithful readers currently reside in Japan or thereabouts, do check out the concerts and see if you can get yourself a CD. Please. I want to hear it.
