JAPAN RELIEF : ENTRY ELEVEN

This week, I'm helping with the local primary school. The pupils and parents have already managed to collect a nice sum of donations by doing a cake sale, which is fantastic. Within the school, we've managed to get a display wall for Japan Relief, with which we hope to raise awareness and let the kids know what's going on.

Our main project for the coming days is for the whole school to help make 1000 cranes. It's a Japanese tradition to fold 1000 cranes with origami, in times of need. They represent our feelings and our care, like a way of sending our thoughts. All we need is for every pupil to make just one or two cranes to reach our total of one thousand. Easy.
