Samantha Ronson & The Undertakers today released their/her first album "Chasing The Reds". Packed with vibrant, querky, indie sounds, it's quite an enjoyable rock-influenced album, yet swayed intelligently by her DJ career. And it's not a girl version of Mark Ronson either, he's only involved in one track I think. It's a very real record, or what I call genuine music, music that's not made for shits but because it's of value, which is without a doubt getting harder to find these days. I've not been listening to this sort of genre since Tahiti 80 or Fever Ray, and it's wonderfully refreshing.
