LIGHTS is back with a new single after hitting mainstream with her "intergalactic" electro-pop vibe, working the synths and sensual vocals for her debut album "The Listening". The new single "Everybody Breaks A Glass" features electronica band Holy Fuck and rapper Shad K, as she experiments with dubstep layers. I don't think it breaks any new ground in terms of pop music and with her second album looming, I hope it doesn't all sound like this. It's not bad but not particularly exciting either.
However, this official lyrics video which just dropped today, is actually created by LIGHTS herself, using her own artwork which I think is cool. The single is already available for download with the new album apparently complete, just waiting on a release date.
