The members of MONKEY MAJIK, who are based in Sendai, one of the worst affected areas, are all currently volunteering with their community to try and recover from the disaster. Blaise (Vo&G) has been active on his official blog and Twitter, giving us an idea of what's going on and what they're doing to help. It looks like a lot of the work consists of clearing out all the debris, including houses and roads, as well as helping to feed and look after those who are stuck in school halls and all.
I decided to put this up now, because Blaise has just released a little video of how they're living each day, featuring a new song he's been writing since the disaster struck. It's called "take my hand" and it will be out and available soon as a charity download by Blaise Plant.
