CHELSEA IN POOR FORM

I went to see the Champions League game on Tuesday against MSK Zilina - a game we turned around to win 2-1 with a pretty young and inexperienced side. The victory not only cements our place top of the group, but also marks our best ever start to a European campaign with 5 wins out of 5.

Sadly, our results in the English League has been declining rapidly over the last few weeks, after what was actually a really good first couple months of the season. With defeats just 1 win in the last 5 games, I'm left rather disappointed, and wondering what on earth went wrong. Today's draw at Newcastle was as frustrating as ever, having dominated the second half yet failing to put the ball in the net.

The finishing just isn't good enough; chances aren't being converted. Perhaps we're lacking in match-winners. Returns for the likes of Lampard and Essien would be so welcomed right now. Defending isn't too great either, having conceded early on too many times from simple errors. Terry and Alex are missed. Maybe we should be looking to invest in squad members in January? Maybe we shouldn't have let our assistant manager go in such an awkward moment?

Whatever it is, we need to get our act together fast. We've given away the top stop in the league and we have 3 massive consecutive games coming up in just two weeks' time. Come on Chelsea and sort it out.
