MT. DESOLATION

Mt. Desolation is the side project for two of Keane's members, and they have just released the debut album this week. I haven't really been enjoying much of their works since "Hopes And Fears" of 2004, which was a masterful album. But this is very different.

The tone of the album is much more chill and meaningful. I feel soul when I listen to it, and it just seems like such genuine music. I appreciate that. It also features collaborations from various members of The Killers, Noah and the Whale, as well as Mumford & Sons. So it's got some real big names, and I reckon it's an album definitely worth experiencing. ("Annie Ford" is a beautiful tune.)
