Alan Pownall is a new artist who has just yesterday released his debut album "True Love Stories". Now, I must say the album cover rather strongly resembles John Mayer's "Battle Studies" - they could have been a bit more original. (Original name though haha.)
Following the style of Joshua Radin and Jack Johnson, his songs have that beautiful chill-out acoustica feel, of which I am a massive fan. Some of his tracks fall under modern folk which is perhaps outside my preferred genres, but certainly the songs like "Colourful Day" are just perfect under-the-sun music. This was his first single and its video, embedded below, was released on the 12th July. Check it out and enjoy.
